With Waccamaw River Tours, you explore by boat the beautiful cypress-lined Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway and its creeks/swamp in search of birds and other wildlife that inhabit these southern waters along the untouched National Wildlife Refuge. The majesty of the moss-lined river is breathtaking and the peacefulness of this natural area is appealing to all. Large osprey nests can be seen along the river. You may also see herons, egrets, cormorants, ducks, turtles, and alligators. Be greeted by roaming peacocks and gaze upon exotic animals such as bison, zebra, fallow deer, emus, and sheep on the drive to and from our docks at the back of the Waccatee Zoo.
